Spiritual energy is very real. Like the air you breathe, the colors of the sky you see, the fragrance of flowers you smell - spiritual energy is also light, color and vibration that affects you, your moods, your state of balance and peace, and your joy in life.
We don't learn how to recognize spiritual energy in school, yet we all know it. What makes you feel the difference between a place that is serenely sacred and peaceful, and another that makes you feel jangled and uncomfortable? What gives you those intuitive flashes and insights to solve problems, when you can't find the answer with your mind?
Quantum physics has done much to awaken and excite those of us who love science (I have a science degree), and love spirit! This field of study is continually pushing the boudaries of what we 'know' about physical matter - and demonstrating that in fact there is a great deal we don't know or understand of this 'solid' substance of which we and our Earth are made. After all, science can only test and validate what it can measure - but how can it measure something when the tools have yet to be developed?
For example, people have observed lightning, and felt the effects of electiricty in our world (from electric eels to static electricity) for millenia - but it wasn't until the last few centuries when electricity was scientifically measured, understood and proved to exist. Does that mean it didn't exist before then?
The same could be said of X-Rays, radio waves - and what about the internet! Even my own grandmother couldn't have fathomed how I could sit at a little black box and communicate with the world.
My point is, look at the world in which you live - through your eyes, your feelings, your mental analysis, and your intuition - and see how real and present the vibration of spirit is. We aren't glued together into a human body because one cell said to another - let's get together and be human!
